POSITION SUMMARY:

This is a senior position requiring 15 or more years of investment experience as a plan sponsor or portfolio manager with direct investment management responsibilities or significant experience in the selection, structuring and monitoring of third party investment managers.

The ideal candidate with have strong fundamental investment and analytical skills, as well as, excellent communication and presentation skills.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

The position will be responsible for the selection and supervision of active and passive investment managers to achieve specific strategic objectives within taxable and tax-exempt client accounts.

Provide comprehensive manager due diligence and oversight including:

     Qualitative reviews of management organizations, investment process, portfolio structure, risk and performance.

     Quantitative analysis or portfolio structure, risk and performance.

Developing and monitoring investment objectives and guidelines.

Evaluating and monitoring portfolio tax-effectiveness, selection decisions, trade execution and risk characteristics.

Developing and making recommendations and presentations to Investment Policy Committee, Investment Officers/Portfolio Managers, Clients, and Business Prospects.

QUALIFICATIONS

15 plus years of directly relevant work experience.
Graduate Degree in Business, Finance, or Economics.
CFA Charterholder
Experience with Factset, Fixed Income Risk Models, returns based analytical tools.  Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint.
