POSITION SUMMARY:
The Analyst will provide support complementing the internal client management efforts of the Chief Investment Officer and the Portfolio Manager. The Analyst can expect to assume additional client management responsibilities - internal as well as externally facing - as experience grows. Additionally, s/he will manage early stage prospecting efforts, researching numerous resources (on-line, print media, etc.) to identify potential clients.


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare customized presentations, reports, and performance reviews for clients.

 

Act as liaison with operations and client service teams to execute wire transfers, allocation (trade) tickets, sale of assets, account openings, and other miscellaneous client requests.

 

Investigate and resolve problems / issues for clients (reconciliation of statements, tracking transfers of funds, ensuring timely and correct delivery of statements, etc.). Facilitate solutions for clients on Hirtle Callaghan non-core competencies (establishing lines of credit, executing self directed trades, researching stock picks, giving advice on taxes and preferential domain, etc.).


Perform asset allocation and related analyses of client and prospective client portfolios. 

 

Perform administrative functions including drafting correspondence to existing and potential clients and maintaining contact and other databases. 

 

Support Investment Officer with prospecting efforts by researching and identifying prospects and developing new business presentations. 

 

Possess maturity and professionalism to make and receive phone calls from sophisticated clients and be prepared to discuss investment programs intelligently. 

 

Ensure timely delivery of sensitive materials to clients and offsite Investment Officers. 

 

Complete special projects for clients as needed (investigate strategies surrounding concentrated positions; perform cash flow analyses, risk implications, Monte Carlo simulations, etc.). 

 

Perform other needed functions as required.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in a business or finance major.
2 to 5 years experience, preferably in a brokerage, trust bank, or investment advisory environment
Familiarity with MS Office applications and ability to utilize on-line reporting systems
