Hirtle Callaghan Hosts High Schoolers from Heights Philadelphia

We were delighted to host the launch of Heights Philadelphia’s Financial Services & Business Pathway for high school students on November 13th. We have been supporters of Heights, a non-profit organization dedicated to social mobility, for over 15 years. Held at our headquarters, the launch event included 30 ninth and 10-grade students from Constitution High School who engaged in a day of learning about careers in financial services. They received a high-level overview of the financial sector, listened to a “near-peer” career panel of Hirtle Callaghan employees and took an interactive office tour to learn about the various facets of our business.

Managing Director Garrett Wilson was quoted in Heights’ press release, “As a committed Heights partner, Hirtle Callaghan has mentored and offered real industry experience to 11 college students since 2021 through Heights Inveniam Equity internship program. Two of the students who participated in the internship program now are full time employees at our firm.  This is our first engagement with Heights’ high school students, and we are thrilled to see programmatic focus in the financial sector grow. We hope the students’ experience at Hirtle Callaghan’s headquarters will continue to empower and fuel curiosity in the financial services sector. Together with Heights, we can build bridges to success and create a better Philadelphia for all.”
